Today is the 70th anniversary of the BIG Hekla volcano eruptions. That eruption lasted for 13 months!! Now she is ready to go again, with more pressure in the ground than before two last eruptions. Hekla really worked hard for her nickname and she deserves it, “Gateway to Hell”.
