Fantastic private tour
Booking Moonwalker was a great decision for our group of 4 adults. We booked the private tour for 2 full days in a row for the Golden Circle & Glacier Tour and the South Coast Tour. Bessi, the Owner is a very friendly and a passionate person about his home country of Iceland. He makes you feel very comfortable from the minute you meet him when he picks you up in his huge 4 x4 vehicle. He shared his knowledge with us about so many things, other than the sights we visited, such as Icelandic legends which we found very entertaining. He is a excellent and safe driver on all types of terrain, of which we experienced many different types-hence that’s why you need a 4×4.
Being on a private tour with Moonwalker avoids large crowds and allows us to experience the sights more intimately. I would not do it any other way. I HIGHLY recommend Moonwalker as the premier guide for Iceland.

THE BEST GUIDE
Bessi is the best guide.
He knows all the local spots – great ones – and will avoid the tourist traps if you prefer something more off the beaten path (we always do).
He knows where to find all the best food spots too and was amazing at maximizing the trip for my 93 year old (but still adventurous) grandmother.

Two Day Adventure in Iceland with Bessi
Moonwalker is a highlly reputable and professional operation running excursions out of Reykjavik to much of Iceland. The secure website is easy to use to prebook and pay for excursions in advance. Group and private tours are available, and pickup and dropoff are directly to your hotel. Bessi is the owner/driver/guide, and he is exceptional in all three capacities. Vehicles (we experienced two) are comfortable, well maintained, and well matched to the terrain; and Bessi is an expert at negotiating the challenges of driving on glaciers–we felt that we were in very capable hands at all times. We took two full day excursions out of Reykjavik with Bessi and his sweet dog, Cami. They were one of the highlights of our monthlong journey in the Arctic, and allowed us to see many different aspects of Icelandic nature and culture within a very compact time frame. Bessi was an immensely personable and knowledgeable companion and guide–we learned a lot from him, and thoroughly enjoyed his company in the process. We recommend Moonwalker enthusiastically and without reservation.
