You’ll travel with your own Moonwalker guide in a comfortable Land Rover Discovery, covering Iceland’s most iconic landscapes while still leaving room for flexibility, quiet moments, and a real connection with the land.

Your Vehicle: Land Rover Discovery (Comfort & Capability)

For this multi-day route, your private transport is a Moonwalker Land Rover Discovery — chosen for its balance of comfort, space, and all-weather reliability. It’s ideal for long scenic drives, winter conditions, and relaxed travel between regions, ensuring the journey itself is as enjoyable as the destinations.

With a private guide and vehicle, the schedule revolves around you. We adjust timing, linger where it matters, skip what doesn’t, and adapt to weather and light — something group tours simply can’t do.

Your Moonwalker guide is a certified professional with Search & Rescue and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) background, offering not only deep local knowledge but a strong focus on safety, judgment, and experience.

Day-by-Day Overview

Day 1 – The Golden Circle, Done Properly

Explore Iceland’s most historic and geologically significant region without rushing.

• Þingvellir National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• Geysir geothermal area & Strokkur
• Gullfoss waterfall
• Scenic countryside drive toward the South Coast

Overnight in comfortable countryside accommodation.

Day 2 – South Coast to the Glacier Lagoon

A full day of dramatic landscapes as we head east toward Europe’s largest glacier.

• Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss waterfalls
• Black sand plains & lava fields
• Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
• Diamond Beach

Overnight near the glacier region — excellent conditions for Northern Lights in season (Sept–April).

Day 3 – South Coast Highlights & Return

On the return west, we visit some of Iceland’s most striking coastal features.

• Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach & basalt columns
• Vík area viewpoints
• Additional scenic stops depending on conditions

Return to Reykjavík in the late afternoon.
